Another trend seen on the catwalks from spring 2013 is the water trend. This trend ranges from striking prints of water in bold blues to more of a textured water look showing a water sheen or glow as seen above. I love the subtlety and sheen of this Donna Karan dress. The same muted sheen can also be seen on these Emporio Armani earrings. These earrings remind me of the utility trend when I was at university in the late nineties / early naughties - this is a trend that I loved as it showcased subtle colours and simple silhouettes.
